AFL Indonesia is an organisation founded by members of the Jakarta Bintangs, Borneo Bears and Bali Geckos Australian rules football clubs.
Our purpose is to develop Australian rules football in Indonesia. A volunteer organisation, we introduce Indonesians to Australia’s native game primarily through school programmes and Auskick clinics. With thousands of Indonesians already introduced to footy, AFL Indonesia has been able to create a local league (ANZ Cup) and a national team - The Garudas.
AFL Indonesia hopes to build on the success of its development and plans to expand the number of cities, teams and local leagues enjoying Australian rules football in Indonesia’s populous expansive archipelago.
